Learn about Spaulding's Brain Injury program, as well as our Model System and NFL Grant at the 32nd Annual Brain Injury Conference in Marlborough, MA.

The 32nd Annual Brain Injury Conference will be held on Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Best Western Royal Hotel and Plaza in Marlborough, MA. From 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., conference attendees can learn about such topics as resilience skills for compassion fatigue, the impact of communication on stroke survivors with aphasia and their caregivers, current research and information on TBI and associated disorders with our returning veterans and trusts for brain injuiry survivors.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Carolyn Roy-Bornstein will discuss her new memoir Crash, A Mother, a Son, and the Journey from Grief to Gratitude (Globe Pequot Press, Sept. 2012). Dr. Roy-Bornstein, an author and pediatrician with over 15 years of experience, will describe the balance between being a mother grieving for all her son has lost and a physician determined to turn tragedy into opportunity.
