Boston, MA - For the 19th year, Spaulding’s Race for Rehab program had 78 teammates triumphantly cross the finish line of the 128th Boston Marathon. In addition to months of training, the Team dedicates itself to raising funds to support groundbreaking research and critical patient care programs at Spaulding. This year, the Team raised over $925,000, surpassing the initial goal that was set. As an official Boston Athletic Association charity, the Race for Rehab program encourages people of all abilities to participate in athletic endeavors in support of Spaulding’s mission. Since 2005, Spaulding’s Race for Rehab Team has raised over $7,000,000 and has grown from one member to over 1,000 alumni from across the globe.
