Denise M. Ambrosi, MS, CCC-SLP
Director of Speech Language Pathology
Program Director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation
Denise Ambrosi is Director of Speech Language Pathology and Program Director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where she has worked for 25 years in progressive leadership roles. Denise guides the clinical practice of speech language pathology at Spaulding, and she leads the interdisciplinary brain injury team. Denise’s clinical focus has been in the area of dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders.
Denise has a faculty appointment at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in Boston.
Denise received her BA degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, and her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a member of ASHA (American Speech Language Hearing Association) and of ACRM (American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine).
Lynne C. Brady Wagner, MA, CCC-SLP
Stroke Program Director
Lynne Brady Wagner is a speech-language pathologist and is the Director of the Stroke Program and the Chair of the Ethics Advisory Committee at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
Ms. Brady Wagner earned a graduate certificate in Healthcare Ethics from Rush University Medical School and was a Disability Ethics Fellow at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago. She is a former member of American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s Board of Ethics and serves the Special Interest Group for Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders Steering Committee as the Associate Coordinator (2011-2013).
She is an active volunteer for the American Stroke Association and received the inaugural Healthcare Professional Award for the Northeast Region in 2010. She is an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor and teaches Healthcare Ethics at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professions.
Ms. Brady Wagner has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured nationally on the topic of ethics and disability. She is also the ethics column editor for the journal Topics in Stroke Rehabilitation.
Josephine Dipietro
Pediatric Program Director
Pediatric Clinical Nurse Manager
Ms. Dipietro holds the positions of Pediatric Clinical Nurse Manager and Pediatric Program Director of the inpatient Pediatric Unit at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. She was a staff nurse on the Spaulding inpatient unit for a number of years before transitioning to a nursing management position in 1999. She has been the Pediatric Program Director since August 2011.
Ms. Dipietro received her master’s degree in nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist was her focus of study. Her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in nursing is from Simmons College. She was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau International. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse and has been the recipient of multiple “Partners in Excellence” awards.
Debra Margolis, MS, OTR/L
Director of Occupational Therapy
Program Director, General Rehabilitation
Ms. Margolis is the Director of Occupational Therapy and the Program Director for the General Rehabilitation Program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston. She has been at Spaulding since 1985 in progressive leadership roles. She has presented at local and national conferences on a wide range of clinical topics related to occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
Ms. Margolis received a BA degree from Clark University, Worcester, MA and an MS degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University, NY. She is a member of Massachusetts Association for Occupational Therapists and American Occupational Therapy Association.
Cara Brickley, MS, DPT
Director of Physical Therapy
Program Director, Comprehensive Rehab Program
Cara Brickley is the Director of Physical Therapy and the Program Director for the Comprehensive Rehab Program. She received a MS degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College and later, DPT from Simmons College. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
