NE Revolution, Spaulding and Mass General Partner for Children with Disabilities

Foxboro, MA - The New England Revolution, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital are hosting a free Youth with Disabilities Soccer Clinic Friday Aug., 28, from 2-4 p.m., at the Dana Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium. More than 90 children with disabilities, their friends and families from throughout Massachusetts will get to learn tips and techniques from Revolution players and Revolution Academy coaches. The event is designed to be a welcoming environment for children of various ages and abilities to learn not only about soccer but also lessons on diversity.

"We are so proud to partner with the Revolution and Mass General to provide this terrific community event free of charge. It?s a chance for kids to push themselves and truly see what they are capable of and also get to spend time with some of their favorite soccer stars," said Tim Sullivan, Communications Director for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

Children from various area groups such as Partners with Youth for Disabilities and The Special Olympics, as well former patients of Spaulding and Mass General will attend.

The clinic will run from 2-4 p.m. at the Dana Farber Field House. Players will be available for interviews after the event.
