Clark House Continues to Lead in Patient Satisfaction
December 15, 2009
Clark House Nursing Center at Fox Hill Village, a joint venture partner with PCC, continues to excel in patient satisfaction measures in 2009 after being recognized in 2008 with an Excellence in Action Customer Satisfaction award.

The award was granted by My Inner View, an organization that publishes the annual National Survey of Resident and Family Satisfaction in Nursing Facilities. This recognition applies to nursing homes that have committed to making continuous quality improvement a priority in order to better serve their residents.

Chris Wasel, Executive Director at Clark House, said, "We know how important customer satisfaction is to hospitals when making referrals for post-acute care. We are pleased that this award will help demonstrate to them our commitment to excellent care for their patients."

To qualify for this distinction, Clark House scored in the top 10% of facilities that received an "excellent" rating by patients and family members when asked what their recommendation of the facility would be to others. My Inner View works with approximately 8,000 senior care and nursing centers nationwide, of these, fewer than 4% received customer satisfaction awards, with Clark House being one of only six facilities honored in Massachusetts.

The trend continues in 2009, with Clark House scoring well above the 90% percentile for excellent ratings year to date, where the national average for nursing facilities is at 50%.

Clark House Nursing Center at Fox Hill Village is located in Westwood, Massachusetts, accommodating 70 residents and includes a 40-bed Alzheimer's Care unit.
