CPR Certification and Training

Spaulding Braintree offers the following training and certification in CPR and Basic Life Support. Call the rehabilitation center for more information and for a class schedule.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Designed for: Healthcare providers, such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, physicians, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

CPR Certification Course Content:

•Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
•Adult and pediatric CPR (including 2-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)
•Foreign-body airway obstruction
•Use of automated external defibrillation with CPR
Heartsaver AED
Designed for:
•Employee training at companies, corporations, businesses or other entities.
•Employees and/or designated first responders who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

CPR Training Course Content:

•Adult/Child CPR with mask
•Adult/Child Choking
•Adult/Child AED

Optional:

•Infant CPR with mask
•Infant choking
Family & Friends CPR
Designed for: Family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. (This course can also be a non-credentialed option for middle-school and high-school students.)

•Adult/Child choking

Optional:

•Infant CPR and choking
Heartsaver CPR in Schools
Designed for:
•Specifically for middle and high school students.
•For schools that want to provide CPR and AED training to their students and also want their students to receive a credentialed course completion card.
