Acupuncture

Doctor putting ccupuncture needle in man's back

Acupuncture services at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network involve the use of needles or finger pressure to unblock stagnant energy and stimulate an individual's life energy, or Qi. Acupuncture has been practiced in China for thousands of years and has gained popularity in the United States over the last several decades.

Acupuncture has been found to be helpful in reducing pain and fatigue from a variety of chronic illness, promoting gastrointestinal health, improving hormonal balance and enhancing feelings of relaxation and well-being.
